TAPWE – Grandmothers Against Violence is a group of three Grandmothers (11 children and 10 grandchildren between us, as well as several degrees in Indigenous Studies, Education, Communications, and the Fine Arts) and we read the MMIWG2S+ Final Report and 231 Calls for Justice.

We have piloted actions and tactics to address specific elements of the Calls for Justice, looking at work forces that conduct business in rural Canada. We have developed competency training to align with the Calls for Justice in addressing these work forces and their relationship with Indigenous communities. Our services and more information is available upon request by email, please.
